Adding list of Concerns

I’ve been fixing some stuff. I’ve realized that someone has been posting a lot of “Concerns” but as he/she was not logged in the tags didn’t worked (I must fix that). So we now have a bunch of Concerns without a tag (see here).
To add a tag you must be “editor” whereas the default role when you sign up is “author”:

  • Editor: can edit everyone posts
  • Author: can edit only its own posts

Tell me who you want to be editors: send me user name.
Justin and me are also “Administrators”, that means we have capabilities to edit the role of users. Tell me if you need to be also “administrator”.
New feature:

Open to suggestions.

The tool test starts!

As we’ve commented in the meeting: This is the test web site we’ve been working on to make easier and browsable the process of classifying the concerns (or values, solution in the long term): http://montera34.org/occupybostonideas
Be aware that right now there are just test Concerns, when the good ones come, we will erase the fake ones.
Mike will start uploading some to test the site. We will evaluate then.
What is working:

Not yet working

  • although you can vote, it need some improvement. As the concerns do not have title, it is difficult to list them
  • if you are not signed up, the tags do not work when uploading your concern

For the future

  • once you have uploaded some good concerns, we can proceed and erase the old-test ones. Tell me!
  • re-capcha protection against trolls [for posting and sign up] or antispam protection
  • test sign up from different browsers, OS
  • fix voting system
  • moving to occupyboston.org subdomain or buy a new domain
  • usability
  • texts to explain this processs for the about section
  • the blog section could be used to talk about this process
